UNCONVENTIONAL WAYS TO USE LIP GLOSS

Just as the name implies, lip gloss is meant solely for the lips. It helps in bringing shine to it and also to keep the lips hydrated. But did you know that there are some unconventional or unusual ways to use lip gloss? Intrigued? Bet you are and you are also wondering how.  New beauty tricks keep emerging every other day, and a lip gloss is a must have for every girl. For skin

You might be wondering, why will I use a lip gloss on my skin when I have a cream. The essence is for you to use it as a highlighter. How? Simple! Just dab a little amount of the gloss with your finger under your brow bone, Cupid’s bow and cheek bones to get an instant glow and dewy skin.

On the cheeks

Forgot to apply blush while you were in a hurry to step out? Don’t worry as you are a pink lip gloss will create a fine blush. If you have your makeup bag with you, take a pink lip gloss and swipe it on your cheeks. It’s an easy way to give yourself an instant fresh- faced glow that will make you beautiful. Don’t dab too much as it will make you face look too oily, a little amount will do.

For the hair

For real? Yeah right! You may not be able to control humidity especially during the harmattan period which usually makes the hair frizzy. Using a lip gloss will surely make you to manage it. If you cannot get a hold of your styling products, say you are in a party; you can simply go to the rest room and take with your makeup bag. Make sure you apply the non-sticky gloss at the end of your hair to calm the hair and make it look good and in place.

If you are having a ponytail and you have little under grown hairs coming out, try to apply little bits of clear lip gloss on an old toothbrush and tame the hairs from looking fury.

Brow gel

You want to have those flawless brows even though you didn’t use a brow pencil to highlight. Then your lip gloss will do the magic. If you don’t have the usual glow gel, you can keep unruly eyebrows by using a brow brush to keep them in place. This will make you look gorgeous and have a shiny brow even without the normal highlighting and contouring.

For eyes makeup

For that artistic makeup and photo shoots, you can decide to go unconventional by applying your lip gloss on the eyelids. It can also serve as your eyeshadow makeup primer. Simply apply a little amount of the transparent gloss on your eye lids before you apply the eye shadow of any colour of your choice.  This way, your eyeshadow makeup will make you look fiercer as it will easily stick without going off because of the gloss.

Lip gloss can serve as eyeliner

Using the lip gloss and any colour of eyeshadow, take a thin brush that is clean; dip it into the lip gloss. Don’t dab too much, just a little and draw a thin line along you lash line. Afterwards, add on top of the gloss any eye shadow colour using a different thin brush. This will make you look more flawless in your makeup just as good as one who has used sophisticated eyeliner.

On the lips

You can also create a customised colour lipstick by using a transparent lip gloss and any colour of eyeshadow or blush. Simply rub the blush or eyeshadow say brown or red on your lips, then blend the colour with the lip gloss and you will be mesmerized by the results. It will give you a super toned shade result that will make you the envy of so many ladies.
