Banned Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, is
currently having the time of her life in Hollywood.
Rahama, who is the first Kannywood actress to star
in a Hollywood flick, has shared new images from the movie set on her Instagram
page few days ago. In one of the photographs, Sadau is pictured with American
superstar, Akon. The actress decided to honour Akon and Jeta Amata’s invitation
after she was banned and even disregard the warning of a Cleric.
Meanwhile, findings have revealed that the actress
is starring in a big budget Hollywood movie titled The American King.
Award-winning U.S.-based Nigerian filmmaker, Jeta Amata, is directing the film.
She is starring alongside Nollywood stars, Nse Ikpe
Etim and Eyinna Nwigwe and Hollywood stars, Vannessa Martini, Akon and Miguel
Nunez jnr.
Even though Sadau has yet to divulge details of her
role in the movie, it appears that she may indeed be playing a lead role.
Clearly, Kannywood’s breakout star, Sadau’s career,
has taken a new dimension since her recent expulsion from Kannywood for
featuring in a romantic musical video.
Earlier in the month, she forayed into Nollywood by
starring in a 13-week drama series titled Sons of the Caliphate, which
currently airs on Ebonylife TV.
