Spain defeat Nigeria to win 2017 Copa Lagos tournament.

Spain have won the 2017 Copa Lagos beach soccer tournament after a 6 - 5 victory over Nigeria in the final game on Sunday, December 10. Both Spain and Nigeria were in search of a final day victory to emerge champions after both team won their first two games against Morocco and Lebanon. However, Abu Azeez pulled in a stunning last minute goal but it was a little too late and not enough as Spain emerged winner, winning 6-5 on the day. In the club session, Arsenal BSC, led by England beach soccer player Aaron Clark emerged champion after defeating Gidi Sharks 9-5 in their final game.
Chelsea star Charly Musonda signs a new deal with the Blues
Belgian youngster Charly Musonda has signed a new contract at Premier League club Chelsea despite interest from the Blues' rivals Arsenal, Real Madrid, and other clubs in England. Recently, the 21-year-old moaned about his lack of regular playing times under Chelsea coach Antonio Conte in which there were many reports that he could leave in January. But Charly Musonda has had a change of heart and is now committed to the Stamford Bridge landlords until the year 2022.
Musonda told Chelsea’s official website:

“I am very happy and very proud. I came here very young and I'm very happy to continue my journey here. “I love this club so it’s a great moment for me and my family. “Now I want to establish myself and progress into the team and stay here permanently.” he said.
Ex Cameroonian defender Benjamin Massing dies
Cameroonian football has been hit a deadly blow following the death of former international defender Benjamin Massing who died the age of 55. As at the time of writing this report, the cause of death is still unknown to the general public. Benjamin Massing would ever be remembered for the legacy he created at the 1990 World Cup. Massing's crunching tackles at the 1990 FIFA World Cup made him famous as he was regarded as one of the terrible defenders in the history of the World Cup. The defender's body check on Claudio Caniggia in the opening game against Argentina in Milan has often been described as one of the worst tackles. He was sent off from that encounter, but Cameroon went
to win 1-0 to the surprise of the watching world. Massing who played in France at Creteil won 34 caps for his country between 1986 and 1992
