Kwalli the local eyeliner

Kwalli commonly known by the northerners as eyeliner is a local cosmetic used to define the eyes.
It is applied around the contours of the eyes to give it a defined beautiful outlook.
The kwalli as we all know is a local stone that is grounded into powder form.
The kwalli is used on babies, adults and even older ones. It has been used since ancient time in parts of Asia, Arab, India, Indonesia and some Islamic countries.
Aside from adding beauty to the eyes its said to have some medicinal value to the eyes. It clears the eyes, brightens and gives it a clearer vision.
In the north kwalli is used on new born babies both male and female, with the belief that it helps in the development of the eyes.
This black little shiny stone is a wonder stone, unlike the modern day’s eyeliner that has bad effect on the eyes due to some strong ingredients like Almond oil (prunus amygdalus, vatada) Camphor (cinnamomun camphora , karpura) castor oil (Ricinus communi, Eranda) Rose ( Rosa damascene, shatapatri) Triphala consisting of fruits Emblica officinalis ( Amalaki) Terminalia chebula ( Haritaki) and terminalia bellerica ( Vibhitaki), this  little shiny stone is a natural beauty material  that has no side effect of any kind.

How to apply Kwalli.
1.    Buy the little shiny stone from the market; grind it in to powder form.
2.    Get a clean container and pour the powder into it.
3.    Get a clean slim wooden pin for easy application of the kwalli
4.    Apply the kwalli at mornings after bath.

For best result apply also at night before going to bed.
