Mango leaves have lots of health benefits even though not many people are aware of the amazing benefits. Mango leaves are filled with medicinal and healing properties and can actually work as a great herbal medicine. These leaves are very beneficial for our overall health, because they are rich in vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and many other minerals.
The mango leaves are reddish or purplish when tender and new, and grow into a dark green colour and have a pale underside. These leaves are rich in vitamin C, B and A. and other nutrients. The mango leaves have powerful antioxidant properties as they have a high content of flavonoids and phenols. They can be boiled in water to make a decoction or can be consumed in powdered form. Gall And Kidney Stones: The mango leaves help treat kidney stones and gallstones. The daily intake of a finely ground powder of mango leaves, which are dried in the shade, with water kept in a tumbler overnight, helps in breaking the stones and flushing them out.
