Tahir Ibrahim is our #MCM. Tahir is the Talba of Bauchi and the youngest member of the Bauchi Emirate Council.
He is the 4th Talba of Bauchi. His grandfather late Attahiru was the first Talba, his uncle Mukhtar Tahir was the 2nd Talba, then his late father Dr Tahir the 3rd Talba.
He holds a BSc. (degree) in Computer Science from the University of Abuja and just recently concluded a post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi.
Talba as he is popularly called due to his title as Talban Bauchi was the Senior Special Assistant to Bauchi State Governor until he resigned in June 2017. He served as the Personal Assistant to
Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar during his campaigns from 2014 to 2015.
Talba is a stakeholder of the APC in Bauchi local government. He contested for the House of Representatives primaries of Bauchi local government federal constituency under the APC and lost.
He was the Senior Legislative Aide at the National assembly from 2011 to 2012. He served as the Chief operating officer at Green Forest from 2010 to 2011.
He was a Senior Supervisor in the computer department of the Securities and Exchange Commission Abuja from 2006 to 2009.
He was the editor of Tozali (The eye liner) magazine from 2007 to 2008 and is still a contributing editor.
He was a columnist for blueprint newspapers from 2013 to 2014.
He still features as a guest columnist for Blueprint Newspapers. Talba also features as an opinion columnist on Daily Trust newspapers.
He is a patron of the Dr Ibrahim Tahir Talba Foundation in memory of his late father, Dr Ibrahim Tahir Talban Bauchi.
Talba is a member and patron of the International Red Cross in Bauchi and is the President of Bauchi turf club, the umbrella body of horse riders association.
He is the President of Talba Highlanders Football Club in Bauchi local government.
Tahir is a patron of the Talba and Talbiya orphanage in Bauchi which is a charity school for orphans and less privileged children. He is also the chairman of the management committee of the Dr.Tahir memorial mosque at Nassarawa Jahun in Bauchi.

Talba is a politician and a businessman and is most likely going to run again for the coming elections in 2019. He is 41 years old and married with children.
