It’s another new week and the first Monday in the month of September. Happy new month Tozalites. It is our hope and prayer that this new month and new week will be a productive week for all of us.


You all know how we do it every Monday, its #MANCRUSHMONDAY.

And today we will be crushing on Femi Otedola.

Femi Otedola is a Nigerian entrepreneur and CEO of Forte Oil Plc.

Femi Otedola was born into the family of Sir Micheal Otedola and Lady Doja on the 4th of November 1962 in Ibadan Nigeria. His father served as a governor of Lagos state from 1992 to 1993. Femi Otedola studied at Obafemi Awolowo University from 1980 to 1985.

He started off in the late 1980’s with running marketing for his family’s printing press before he delved into the oil business.




He then delved into oil in 2003 with establishing Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, the company focused on marketing and distributing petroleum products. He went further to invest a whooping sum of 15 billion into the company which was used for downstream infrastructure development, to acquire storage depots and four cargo vessels. 

That very same year he purchased a fleet of 100 DAF fuel tanker trucks at the cost of N1.4billion. they grew fast and by 2005 it was already controlling a major share of the Nigerian diesel market supplying fuel to a majority of the country’s major manufacturers including the likes of Dangote Group, Cadbury, Coca-cola, Nigerian Breweries, MTN, Unilever, Nestle and Guinness.

Femi Otedola is married to Nana Otedola and together they have four beautiful and enterprising children; Olawunmi Christy Otedola, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, Elizabeth Temi Otedola and Fewa Otedola.
