HYGIENE YOU SHOULD NOT OVER LOOK

It is true that many people go round causing havoc with their smelly body and their bad breath. No matter the morning rush, you much make sure you do the needful before you set out each day to avoid getting distracted or uncomfortable by others.  The following will help you smell good every day when you are out with friends and even strangers.
KEEP YOUR BREATH FRESH: Many people suffer bad breath, with some, it is only for a short period of time and with others, it is a consistent smell. In most cases, bad breath is caused by smelly gum and tongue not the teeth as assumed by many. Unfortunately, many people do not even know their breath stinks and it can only take some one very close to you to tell you about your bad breath. This is why it is essential for you to look out for yourself properly before you step out of your door.
You can try this simple test: Lick your wrist and wait for the saliva to dry up and then smell the area after 5mins. If it smells awful, then your mouth smells awful as well and it’s time to do something urgently.
GET RID OF UNDER ARM HAIR: It’s disgusting to see people walk around with armless cloth that exposes their under arm hair. When you sweat under your arm, and it gets wet especially when it gets hot, bacteria gets choked in there and it starts smelling making your entire body smell. You find bacteria present in closed and hot places. There are no health risks to having all the hair under your arm shaved off as long as it’s done hygienically. Use a new razor and an antiseptic soap after which. And be ready to hit the road smelling clean and fresh all through the day
USE A DEODORANT:  It can be very embarrassing sweating profusely especially after an exercise. Having a warm bath and using a deodorant after which, gives you a fresh breath. Deodorants help you smell good, you can find very cheap ones in case your problem is “No Money’’, you can afford the cheap ones and be ready to smell nice all the way because no matter how cheap they are, they still serve the same purpose so you do not have any excuse not to smell well. In-case you sweat too much and it causes you to smell bad even after having your bath and applying a deodorant, it is better to inform your doctor about your condition and get help as soon as possible. It is better to sit with a non-classy person smelling good than sit with a smelly classy person. Being classy and smelling good is a total package.
CHANGE CLOTHES AND UNDERWEARS: Dirty cloths, especially underwear and socks can harbour micro- organisms when they are wet or unclean. Repeating dirty clothes or sharing dirty or wearing wet cloths can lead to skin infection. It is also important to wear clean socks to make sure your feet are clean. You sweat on your feet after wearing your shoes all through the day and if your feet are not allowed to receive fresh air, fungi can arise and can cause bad smells and conditions such as athlete foot.

TECHNIQUES THAT WILL HELPS YOUR CHILD EAT

You will agree with me that toddlers cannot feed themselves without the help of an adult. The amount of food that goes into the belly of a toddler depends on the techniques used by the parent/adult who is feeding him. Any techniques can be used as long as the aim is achieved which is getting him to eat well. While feeding, some parents go as far as singing, laughing or even acting funny in a bid to make their toddler eat. The above may not work for all toddlers, but can work for very many. It is natural for a mother to feel unhappy when she has applied all the techniques she knows how to and still doesn’t get her child to eat enough that would make him healthy and grow well. This gives parents every cause to worry. If you are unsatisfied with the way and manner your toddler eats or you are finding it difficult to get him to eat, then check out if these tips can help your child :
1. EAT TOGETHER: Watching other family members using their cutlery and eating well can encourage reluctant toddlers to step up their eating game. When your toddler who finds it difficult to eat sees how people around him are eating, they will change the way they eat with time and start practicing to eat like others which is what you will love to see him do.

2. GIVE BABBIES FINGER FOOD: Learning to eat is part of learning to be independent. They are more likely to eat up if they can take control of meal time and do it by themselves. Because babies love to play which makes them happy, they are likely going to eat more when they are been given finger foods than they would do with solid foods. While they are watching cartoons or playing, they will be nibbling on finger food and will get full in the process. Give them finger foods that are rich in nutrient for their growth.
3. MAKE THEIR FOOD LOOK INTERESTING: If you want your child to eat well, present Inviting meal before your toddler, they get attracted to colours so try as much as possible to make the food  colorful, inviting and attractive. You can garnish it with veggies and proteins; this will increase their appetite and make them eat more than usual.

4. TELL THEM STORIES: You know what makes your child happy, songs or stories they love to hear. Tell your child stories if you want them to eat well and don’t stop until you are sure they have eaten to their satisfaction. Tell them stories and when they ask any question in the process, answer them to make them to continue eating. Your child will grow well if he is well fed and with the right food so if your child finds it hard to eat, use the above techniques and I hope it works.

JOKES

Letter to a Doctor
Dear Doctor
I am 23 years old and have not had my period. My little sister Eferurobo is 17 years old and has had her period since she was 13. I am ashamed to talk about it to my friends because I don’t know if I have a problem of developing slowly, or does it take longer when you are a boy?
Yours faithfully
Akpos.

Intensive Care Unit
It happened in a hospital in Warri, in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients died in the same bed every Sunday at 3pm. Doctors thought it was something supernatural. So, a team of experts was formed to investigate the cause.
The following Sunday, few minutes before 3pm, all doctors and nurses stood around that particular bed waiting to see what it was. Suddenly Akpos (part time cleaner) entered the ICU, unplugged the life support system of that bed and then plugged his blackberry charger.

No Fuel
Uche: Mummy, can I go to Chidera’s house?
Mummy: No
Uche: Why?
Mummy: No Fuel
Uche: Ahn ahn! I am using my legs.
Mummy: If you get missing, is it not a car we are going to use to find you?
