It is good for us to know that the ear can actually clean
itself, and for most people ear canals do not need to be cleaned. The best
thing you can do for your ears is to not put anything in them that is smaller
than your elbow. Wax is not formed in the deep part of the ear canal, but
rather the outer part of the canal near the external opening. If left alone,
old earwax naturally migrates out of the ear as a result of jaw movement.
Inserting sharp or pointed objects into the ear will only push wax further into
the canal and may even cause trauma to the canal wall or the eardrum. So let
nature run its course and simply use a washcloth or tissue to wipe the outer
ear after you bathe or shower. This is very important tip for us. Earwax is
really nothing too serious or dangerous, but it becomes a concern when there is
a complete blockage in the ear canal. You may experience feelings like ear
ache, ringing in the ear, coughing or a feeling of fullness in the ear. As soon
as you begin to feel those symptoms, it is always good to see a licensed and
qualified ear doctor, because these feelings can be very disturbing. Here are few tips on how to care for your ears
and keep them clean:

Avoid listening to
loud music for two long. Always avoid noisy environment like constructions
sites, firing range or anything that creates loud noise.
Use ear protection
plugs if you can’t avoid noisy places.
Keep your health
conditions in proper check. This is because if infections and illnesses
spread they can affect anywhere including your ears. Therefore, make sure that
you treat yourself of any illnesses as much as possible.
Visit your doctor at
least twice a year, specifically for ear check-up. This is very important
for our whole body, because if any part of your body is sick, it affects all
other parts of the body.
