Green is the
colour of nature and good health. It represents growth, nature, wealth,
fertility and safety. The colour green is a relaxing colour that is pleasing to
the eye and is said to have healing powers especially to the eyes. It is often
used to represent anything that has to do with health and well-being. As
the clamour for environmental friendly fashion heightens, designers have also
embraced this earthy colour by bringing out fabulous designs in different shades
of green.
This rich
colour is readily embraced by stylish ladies and even wedding guests all over
the world as a growing colour trend and another dark shade alternative to
black. Its popularity on the red carpet of most upscale events and weddings
attests to its acceptability as a colour to watch out for.
Nigerian
fashionistas are not left out in donning these earthy frocks at events. Lots of
ladies love the lush green dresses with a real wow factor, showing off ladylike
curves in wrap dresses like the iro and buba, lovely green Ankara skirt and
blouse, veils, headgears and elegant evening gowns.
So, if you
have been postponing getting a green outfit, because you feel the colour won’t
bring out your beauty then you are wrong and now time to get a green outfit.
Green is definitely a shade to wear that will make others go green with envy. Why
not take your wardrobe to greener pastures this season; rock the green colour
outfit and look lovely.
