Bed time Beauty Habits to help you look Beautiful

Throughout the day, the skin gets exposed to harsh ultraviolet (UV) sunrays, dust and air pollution, harsh chemicals and environmental pollution. This can cause significant damage to your skin leading to skin fatigue like premature aging, wrinkles, fine lines and a dull complexion. You can reverse this by taking good care of your skin and hair during the night. While you sleep, the skin repairs itself and with very little effort from you, the skin will become even healthier. A proper nightly skin care routine will help improve your skin tone, make your skin glow, reduce blemishes, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. Simply give a few minutes to your skin each night and you will see improvement and enhanced beauty within a few days.
Here are some bed time beauty habits that will help you look more beautiful and glowing;
Always remove Your Makeup each night before going to bed: Irrespective of your busy schedule and no matter how extremely tired you are, never go to bed with makeup on your face; always make time to remove your makeup. This is very important if you truly wish to keep your skin looking young and ageless. When you sleep at night, your skin repairs itself and the skin pores open up. But when there is a layer of makeup on your face like lipstick, mascara, foundation, powder and eye shadow, the pores get clogged. This results in spots, uneven skin tone and even acne breakouts. You can use a makeup remover, facial cleanser, face wipe or cold cream to cleanse your skin and make it makeup free.
Never forget to brush your teeth: Once your dinner is finished, make sure to brush and floss your teeth before going to bed. This will help keep your mouth free from germs, cavities and infections. Also, it will help avoid serious morning bad breath. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush and toothpaste to brush your teeth before going to bed. Brush the outer and inner surfaces of your teeth. Floss your teeth and then rinse your mouth thoroughly with warm or cold water. It is suggested to brush your teeth about 30 minutes after having your meal, especially if it is acidic as brushing immediately after a meal may push the acid deeper into the dentin.
After washing your feet ensure you apply foot cream or Vaseline: Beautiful and healthy feet are the true reflection of your beauty and personality, you cannot ignore them during your nightly beauty regimen. After washing your feet, pat dry them properly. Then apply some petroleum jelly or a foot cream on dry, rough skin on your feet to prevent cracked heels and make them soft. Cover your feet with socks and then go to bed.  If you have time, massage your feet daily at night using circular motions for at least 5 minutes. This will help you relax and sleep better.
Tie up your Hair: Before heading to bed, tie up your hair. While fastening your hair, make sure it is not too tight. If your tie your hair too tight, it will create pressure on the hairline and, eventually, you may lose your hair. Leaving your hair undone at night is not a good idea as it will make the hair more tangled and will look messy look in the morning. Hair contains oils and dirt that can get on your face and cause pimples and acne breakouts so tying your hair at night will benefit both your hair and face.
Don’t ignore those rosy lips: Dry, chapped and cracked lips can ruin all of your beauty efforts. To have a naturally glowing face, equal attention should be given to the lips, too. Make a homemade lip balm with Shea butter. Mix a few drops of rose essential oil along with Shea butter to make a smooth, homemade lip balm for your rosy lips. Apply the balm at night, leaving it on overnight. The beautiful smell of the lip balm will add extra charm to your morning beauty.
Get Enough Sleep: These beauty tips can only work if you have sufficient sleep at night. For a splendid look in the morning, sleep should not be compromised. Eight hours of sleep each night will not only give you a glowing skin but will increase the functionality of your digestive system, which is directly connected to your appearance. So, be sure to get eight hours of sleep before anything else.
Looking beautiful is everyone’s dream and like any dream, this demands effort and dedication. Maintaining these bedtime beauty habits will help to start your day better.
Therefore, make it a habit from today.
