Zainab and Nuraddeen Tie the Knots

Who says that online dating is not real, or is totally waste of time? Well the story of Zainab and Abdulkadir will make you have a rethink. The newly wedded couple met through a social network called Tango. Zainab joined the platform in June 2014. Sometime in July 2014, she got a friend request from Abdulkadir and the rest of the story they say is history. They started dating in December 2014 and finally got married on the 16^th December 2016. The most interesting part of the story of this lovely couple is that Zainab’s maternal grandparents and Abdulkadir’s parents were neighbours in Kano in the 1970’s.

The lovely bride who couldn’t hide the feelings she has for her husband said he is a loving, caring, understanding and religious person and he is the perfect man for her.

The wedding was graced by many from across the nation. The event was kick-started with the Kunshi, followed by the wedding Fatiha which took place at the residence of late Mal. Abubakar Tanko Sisina, at Unguwar Fadama, Tsohuwar Kasuwa, Keffi, Nasarawa State. After the Fatiha, guests were hosted to a lunch immediately at New Keffi Hotel Keffi, then the Kamu. Budai Kai followed suit and the beautiful event was finally wrapped up with a dinner on the 17^th December, 2016 at Tobix Recreational Park and Garden, along Gwarinpa bye-pass. Guests had a lot to eat and drink; they were also well entertained by a stand-by live band.
