How to Get Thicker Hair Naturally


Most women regard their hair as asset that enhances their physical appearance. Your natural hair can bring out your natural beauty. Hair loss is a problem that most women are worried about and will want to correct in at all cost.

Hair loss can be caused by excessive physical or emotional stress, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, pollution, allergies, use of wrong hair care products, poor hair care routine, heredity, frequent application of chemicals and relaxer.

Here are six natural ways to get thicker hair.

Eggs – Egg is known to contain protein; to enjoy stronger and thicker hair, regular use of products that contain high amount of protein in them is essential. Egg is the best ingredient to use when it comes to treatment of hair using products that are rich in protein.

Use one or two eggs depending on the length of your hair, beat it properly and then apply the mixture on wet hair. Allow it to sit for about 20 to 30 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water and shampoo it. You can repeat this process twice or once in a week depending on your choice.

Olive Oil – Olive oil will add weight to your hair, plus it will help soften and strengthen your tresses. Massage your hair and scalp with warm olive oil or you can mix olive oil with honey and apply the mixture on your hair. Allow it to sit for 30 to 40 minutes, then wash it off with mild shampoo. You can also leave it on overnight and wash it off the next morning.

Avocado Pear– Pear, as we all know, is not just meant for consumption. It has so many other benefits; it can be used to enhance hair texture. It moisturizes the hair and adds more thickness to your hair. The vitamin E contained in avocado contributes greatly to the overall health and growth of the hair.

Make a mixture of mashed avocado, mashed banana and one tablespoon of olive oil. Massage the mixture on your hair and leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes so that the scalp can absorb the nutrients; finally, rinse it out and shampoo your hair.

Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera is a popular ingredient that is used for different purposes, it can also be used to get thicker hair. Thanks to its moisturizing quality, it can help restore the pH balance of the scalp. The gel can be extracted from one or two Aloe Vera leaves. Rub it on your hair. Alternatively, you can mix Aloe Vera gel with two tablespoons of coconut milk and apply it to your scalp. Leave it on for about half an hour and then wash it off and shampoo your hair. Repeat this process twice daily depending on your choice.

Henna Leaves– Henna is not only used to beautify the skin with beautiful designs, it can be used to give your hair a rich natural colour and it is an easy way to get thicker, natural, soft, and less prone to breakage hair.

Grind a handful of fresh henna leaves with a little water to make a paste. Let the mixture sit for at least two hours, then apply it to your hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap. After a few hours, wash your hair thoroughly and shampoo it.

Healthy Diet – A rich healthy diet in protein and various vitamins and minerals is an essential for healthy and thicker hair. Vitamin B and proteins in particular promote thicker and longer hair.
