INGREDIENTS
· 1 catfish
· 5 cups of water
· ½ yam
· 1 cup of spinach
· ½ cup of ground crayfish
· 1 bay leave
· 2 medium sized diced onion
· ½ tbsp. of Cameroon pepper
· 4 crushed habanero pepper
· Half tsp of salt
· ½ cup of palm oil
· 1 tablespoon of seasoning cube
· 1 tablespoon Thyme
· Curry
· 1 crushed nutmeg
PROCEDURE
· In a clean pot add your palm oil and onions and fry on medium heat.
· Wash your catfish with salt and warm water.
· Put the washed catfish in a pot and put on fire. Add your seasoning, Cameroon pepper, crayfish, fried palm oil, water, onion, curry, thyme, nutmeg, salt, bay leaf, then mix gently so that the fish won’t break then cover and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
· After 10 minutes, add your yam then cover to cook for another 10 minutes, then your catfish pepper soup is ready.
· Serve and enjoy.
