STEPS TO REMOVE A STUBBORN TOOTH FOR YOUR CHILD

Losing a tooth as a child is perfectly normal as baby teeth fall out and adult teeth begin to peek through the gums. This can also be described as a rite of passage, which is very necessary for children to attain full adult teeth. Losing a baby tooth rarely causes any complications. But sometimes a lost tooth refuses to come out on its own. In that case, you can carefully pull it out yourself especially if it moves back and forth easily without pain.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO REMOVE IT:

1. The first step is to Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to get rid of them any germs or bacteria.

2. Ask your child to open his or her mouth wide try to keep him or her calm.

4. The gum above the removed tooth might bleed. If so, have the child lean slightly forward to avoid swallowing any blood.

5. Using a new gauze pad, apply pressure to the gum area until bleeding stops. Bleeding should stop within a few minutes. If, after fifteen minutes, the bleeding continues, seek professional medical help as soon as possible.
