BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN CHINA YOU MAY NOT HAVE TAUGHT ABOUT




China is no doubt one of the world’s ancient cities and oldest civilizations. Therefore, china is filled with countless hidden treasures and attractions that have not yet been discovered; coupled with natural wonders, and breathe taking statues, china is indeed a beauty to behold. Endeavor to check out this lovely places when next you pay a visit to this giant of Asia.


Guanyin Statue.




Dedicated to the Chinese Buddhist goddess of mercy Guanyin, this tower which is over 354 feet, is said to be the fourth tallest statue on the planet. This statue has three faces on of which faces downwards, while the others point to the south heading towards china sea.

Saint Sophia Cathedral.





You may wonder why this is a site to behold because it’s a cathedral, but this particular cathedral is the largest orthodox church in East and Southeast Asia. It was built by Russian experts in 1907, managing to survive the Cultural Revolution that saw most of the city’s other Orthodox churches destroyed.

Jiuzhaigou.





This enormous lake changes color throughout the
day and year, the color is caused by a combination of algae and calcified rocks found at the bottom of the lake, as well as the reflection of the surrounding landscape.


Yuanyang Rice Terraces.




Covering more than 12,500 hectares, these terraces reach height of up to 6500 feet above sea level,They are richly green which clearly reflects the colors and cloud shapes of the sky.This terrace are also known to be cultivated by the Han people who farm the lands.
