Mohamed Salah responds to Liverpool fans calling Sadio Mane selfish Mohamed Salah has dismissed suggestions that Sadio Mane is selfish and believes there is ‘solidarity’ between Liverpool’s attacking trio. Mane was accused of snubbing Salah during Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday, with some supporters speculating that the Senegal international is jealous of the Egyptian’s success from last season. But Salah insists he does not care who scores more goals for Liverpool and reveals he is extremely close to Mane in the dressing room. When asked about his relationship with Roberto Firmino and Mane, Salah told France Football: ‘We are friends, we talk a lot. ‘Generally, all three of us sit in the dressing room at the same place, right after the matches. Salah says there is ‘solidarity’ between himself, Roberto Firmino and Mane. ‘There is a real solidarity between us because we do not care who will score the most or who scores first. ‘

2019 AFCON QUALIFIERS: ROHR KEEPS AN EYE ON UJAH’S PROGRESS AT MIANZ

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has announced that he has his eye on resurgent Mainz striker, Anthony Ujah and he could be a possible call up for the next game against Libya. Ujah Ujah who played last for the Super Eagles during the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in 2015 has been in fine form scoring back to back goals for Mainz in the German Bundesliga. Although he was not invited for the 2018 FiFA World Cup due to his lack of game time at Mainz, Rohr who spoke as a consultant on the Bundesliga on Europe 1, said, “We are scouting him [Ujah], we could remember him for the next games.” Do not forget that the striker was a member of the Nigeria squad at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and started the 6-1 win over Tahiti.
