THE GRAND LIST OF 2018 EMMY AWARDS WINNERS


The 2018 Emmy Awards winners has been Published, The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards was staged Monday night at LA’S Microsoft Theatre. Later on the Winners were announced by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Actors in drama series includes supporting actor Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones fame while supporting Actress went to Thandie Newton of Westworld.
Actors in Comedy series include Bill Hader and Barry Henry Winkler, and the Actresses Rachel Brosnahan also in Barry. The actress of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel clinched the award for Supporting Actress; and also Alex Borstein of the same movie. Other awards taken includes that for Writing, Comedy Series: Amy Sherman-Palladino for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Directing Comedy Series: Amy Sherman-Palladino for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Actor, Limited Series or Movie: Darren Criss, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story Actress, Limited Series or Movie: Regina King for Seven Seconds, Supporting Actor, Limited Series or Movie Jeff Daniels for Godless, Supporting Actress, Limited Series or Movie: Merritt Wever for Godless, Writing, Limited Series: William Bridges and Charlie Brooker, USS Callister (Black Mirror),Directing,Limited Series: Ryan Murphy, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.




LINDA IKEJI’S BABY ARRIVES


Popular blogger and former model, Linda Ikeja, has delivered a baby boy in Atlanta, United States. She confirmed this on her Instagram page on Monday. Ikeji, in a post, expressed her excitement as she revealed that her son was born on September 17 She wrote, ‘I welcomed my first child, popularly known as baby J today September 17th in hospital in Atlanta. I can’t believe I’m a mum.”Make I sleep small for now. lol. Thanks guys for the well wishes. Love you guys so much!”








REAL REASON FOR KEMI ADEOSUN’S RESIGNATION.
Popular Nigerian Comedian, Ali Baba has reacted to the resignation of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun. Ali Baba in a post on his Instagram page said Adeosun did not resign because of NYSC certificate. According to him,
Adeosun resigned because she refused to ‘play ball’ with some people who need access to federal funds. He wrote: “ I have talked with some people in the corridors of power. The certificate is not the real reason she resigned. It’s the reason given. It’s election year. Just like now, there are people who want access to certain federal funds, that only she has access to and she will not play ball.
“The best way is to discredit her, and put her out of the office, and by that move now, let someone who will dance to their tune. It’s election season.
“Many people are getting the Kemi Adeosun NYSC matter wrong. She did not claim to have served. She came back to Nigeria when she had passed the age to serve. She was then advised to get a certificate of exemption. She did not think it was necessary because clearly she had passed the age. She was advised to get it and those who advised her got it for her. The person who did should have got her legit one. She didn’t need to be present to get an exemption. So, it’s not that she claimed to have served and was issued a certificate for service she did not render. Many people have insurance cover and driving licence that they did not go through a proper driving test to get.

How about Yellow fever vaccine card? Do you know how many people pick up their yellow fever card at the airport, only to reach their destination and are told it’s fake?“
