Fashion Trends that will Never go out of Style

Fashion trends come and go so quickly, it is hard to keep up sometimes. Looking at your mama’s and papa’s pictures in those days, you will agree with me that those old school dresses, shoes, blouses, trousers and hair styles for the ladies are now in vogue in our today’s world. Even though some of these fashion trends have been modernized, the idea still came from our forefathers. While you are busy working out what is in and what is out in fashion, what was in has already gone out; but as people in the fashion business say, while trends fade style last forever. And that is why some of what once was a trend has lasted the distance and is still as hot today as it always was.

There are some fashion trends that will never go out of style and if you are lucky to have some of these clothing in your closet, then you will never be short of something to wear.

Black Dress: Most ladies, if not all, have a pair of a black dress in their closets. The black dress is the longest lasting timeless fashion trend that has ever existed. It’s been a steady feature of every grown up girl’s wardrobe. You can wear it anywhere and pair it up with a beautiful and any type of accessories. Take good care of your little black dress and it will be your saviour in many I have nothing to wear days.

Statement Jewelry: It can come in the form of beads, any how you want it. A single piece of statement jewelry can transform any look, so make sure that you have at least one on your collection. Whether it is a large, chunky necklace, vintage earnings or bright sparkling bracelets, statement jewelry gives you the chance to stamp your own identity on any outfit. Hope you have one, if not, try and get one for yourself.

Leather Jacket: Leather jacket has become a classic staple of the casual wardrobe. It’s comfortable, warm and it will keep the rain off too in the raining season, while in the harmattan period it will keep you warm all day long. As the harmattan approaches, make sure that beautiful leather jacket that was hanging for a very long time serves its purpose during this period. Another great thing about leather jackets is that they last forever and they always look great and get better with age.

Fitted Jeans: When giving the list of fashion trends that will never die and a classic well fitted blue jeans is not mentioned in the list, then the list is not complete. So anytime you plan on buying jeans, make sure you try it on to get the perfect size and fitting because tight fitted jeans are still the best.

Blazer: Blazer has become another one of those classic fashion items that never seems to go out of style for both gentle men and ladies. It will be smart enough to wear to work and it will look great with a pair of jeans. A blazer is the perfect item for dressing up an outfit and it works for day wear, as well as in the evening.

T-Shirt: You really can’t go wrong with a classic T-shirt, it will look great with your statement necklace, jeans and over size sunglasses. Don’t just settle for any old t- shirt. T-shirts are less expensive, and you may be able to buy them anywhere, but it will be wise to take a bit of your time and trying a few ones on before you decide on the one that is right for you.

Pump Shoes: From a day at the office to a date night, a pair of black pumps shoes or any beautiful colour of your choice will see you through it all. It does not really matter what other trends come and go, they will all look good with black pump. If you are looking for shoes that will remain timeless, go for a pair of black pumps with a closed almond shape toe. They will always be in fashion.

Button-up blouse: if you are looking for a top that will go with anything, you can’t go wrong with a button-up shirt. Clean and stylish, it will look great with a blazer or you could wear it with shorts. Get a tailored button-up shirt, one that comes in at the waist, and it will create a wonderful look with almost anything.
