Nigerian filmmaker and critic Charles Novia has criticized the state of cinema in 2017. The talented film maker said the artistic quality and dramatic value of movies were horrible. Novia took to Instagram to reflect on how and why Nollywood has failed to produce a hit in the past three years. The filmmaker who said he is tempted to shoot a movie this year, is optimistic about 2018 saying that many producers are beginning to readjust.

John okafor populary known as “Mr Ibu” was robbed in his residence. The interesting part of it all is that the two suspected members of the gang of armed robbers have been nabbed the police. According to reports, the Lagos state police public relations officer Superintendent Chike Oti, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti- Robbery, SARS, for further investigation. It will be recalled that the robbers took away his properties and cash valued at over N14million.
