Turbanning Ceremony of Alhaji Nasiru Danu as ‘Dan Amana Dutse’

recently turbaned as ‘Dan Amana Dutse’.  This is a very prestigious tittle meaning the ‘trusted one’ awarded to sons of the emirate who have distinguished themselves in chosen fields and impacted Dutse and humanity as a whole. Danu is a very favoured son of the emirate who has achieved monumental success in politics at a relatively young age. He is a detribalised Nigerian with friends and associates spread across the country. Dan Amana is a consummate politician who is known in political circles for his integrity, bluntness and generosity. He is a philanthropist with burning desire to assist the less privileged, friends and family, he also supports countless NGO’s for the betterment of widows and children.  Dutse was overwhelmed with Royalty, Governors, Ministers, Government Officials, family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate with Alhaji Danu. A Durbar was the first event followed by a beautiful cultural evening with performances by various local artists and also a masquerade dance, the turbaning ceremony was next followed by a state dinner hosted by the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Badaru Abubabkar in honour of ‘Dan Amana.
